PTID Architects, a prominent architecture firm with offices in Melbourne and Sydney, designs innovative spaces for the people of today in the education, retail, and corporate sectors. Seeking a refreshed brand and portfolio website to reflect their vision and work, they enlisted the expertise of Motherbird for the rebranding. We were engaged by Motherbird to develop the website, which went through a comprehensive design phase focused on creating a seamless user experience through page transitions, animations, and an overlayed navigation pane that we developed. To incorporate a brand animation, we collaborated closely with the team to develop a masking animation that reveals featured project images underneath, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and easy CMS backend image updates. We also implemented reveal animations on illustration elements for an organic feel and developed a complex grid system, allowing the client to customise column width and item placement for an engaging layout adaptable to various content types.
